Welcome to No Place Like Home, a podcast that gets to the heart of climate change. We're your hosts - Mary Anne Hitt and Anna Jane Joyner. We're two Southern women, climate activists, and dear friends. On No Place Like Home, we explore the biggest story of our time from inviting, intimate, creative, and surprising angles. From staying sane in the age of climate change, to real talk about whether or not our personal choices really matter to saving the planet, No Place Like Home dives into the spiritual, personal, cultural, and emotional dimensions of climate change. We don't shy away from science and politics, but we always bring along our sense of humor - and a feisty dose of hope.

Mary Anne is director of Sierra Club's Beyond Coal Campaign living in the West Virginia hills and Anna Jane is a climate communications expert based on the Gulf Coast of Alabama. We founded the podcast in 2016 and past guests have included social justice visionary adrienne maree brown, Call Your Girlfriend host Ann Friedman, Karenna Gore of the Center for Earth Ethics, Rashad Robinson of Color of Change, climate scientists Katharine Hayhoe and Kate Marvel, and climate writers David Roberts and Mary Annaïse Heglar.
